MOT Test Centre

Everyone who uses a vehicle on the road is required to keep it in a roadworthy condition. The purpose of the MOT test is to ensure that cars, and other vehicles, are checked at least once a year to see that they comply with key road worthiness and environmental requirements. The MOT is a highly specialised examination of the majority of the safety-related components on a vehicle to ensure that they have not worn to such an excessive level so as to render the vehicle unsafe for the road. The test also includes a test on the vehicle's emissions. The UK MOT test now covers over 150 checks of safety-related and emissions systems.

The MOT test centre at Arnolds Garage offers MOT testing 6 days a week on-site in our own fully equipped, VOSA approved, computerised MOT testing station. All MOT tests are carried out by one of our fully-qualified MOT testers. We can provide MOT testing for nearly all makes and models of Car and Light Goods Vehicles (class 4 vehicles). We operate MOT testing for all petrol, diesel, and catalyst cars.             Car Components Tested
